I've been writing about photography since I got my first "proper" job—as a technical writer at Amateur Photographer magazine, way back in 2002. I have no idea how many hundreds of thousand (perhaps even millions) of words I've typed on the subject, but you can find many of them—as well as a whole heap of my photographs—between the covers of these books:

This was a truly collaborative effort, with a great team of contributors sharing a wide range of creative tips, hacks, and techniques covering shooting, lenses, lighting, and processing. I guess you could say this is the book that got me to where I am today, although I can take absolutely no credit for the concept (I was signed up to replace the original author when the project stalled at the start line).
Creative Digital Photography was published in the US by Amphoto Books (as Camera Creative) and translated into at least 9 different languages.
