Small Worlds
When I stumbled across the work of David Levinthal at college, I realised that photography could be much more than the ‘classic’ landscapes and portraits presented by most books and magazines of the time. As a result, large-format cameras became my (then) preferred tool of choice, and my photography moved in a different direction, with toys and hand-made scenes taking my images down a ‘storytelling’ path.
